Ok, so it's been a while since I updated my journal with anything other than those survey things (I'm addicted to doing them!) so I figured I'd give you guys a heads up on what's what.. First off, I'm sure the first thing you all notice is that I changed my username. I made this account, what, almost five years ago, when I was fourteen. At the time, I absolutely LOVED Naruto. Now that I'm older, it was kind of grinding on my nerves, because I'm not into the show anymore, and it's very childish looking. So I changed it to "RavensGrrl" which, obviously, spurs from my love of the Baltimore Ravens, which will never die. It's also the same username as my YouTube account, which kind of makes things simpler. You guys should still call me JJ, though.

I started breeding rats way back in November. I started out with the intention to breed my first two (Darla and Jagger) for food for my snake, but I fell in love with them and sunk my money into getting some gorgeous rats to add to the ones I already had. I now have six males and four females, having rehomed four of my retired girls the other day. I need to get some more females, but at the moment it's no pressing issue, because I have two litters due tomorrow. I'll post some pics of the rats for you guys, since I've been neglecting doing so. Art-wise, I had lost my tablet pen for several weeks. I was putting off buying a new one ($30) when my sister found it last night. Needless to say that Obi/Kaiden piece was both a bit of vent art, and just to get all that art buildup off my chest! It was driving me insane not being able to use my tablet! There's a long story behind that piece, as well, and I'm glad I finished it. As far as The Alliance, I'm still working on it. Recent events have led to some pretty epic inspiration, and if I can ever get past that dreaded first chapter, I'll be home free.

Anyway, I think that's about it.
